Trident Maple, Acer Buergerianum.

special notes about this specific tree if they appliy

-funky looking nebari. Melted together roots. I’d cut it down to the lowest branch next spring. Could make a really fun and unusual tree.

This is our first time offering our raised bed stock trees. These were dug March of 26’ and allowed to grow on their own for the growing season. We cut them back 3 times during the summer months as they put out tremendous growth during the warmer months of 2026.
These will be for sale from now (fall) until spring of 27’ which they will then be cut back hard and transferred to bonsai pots for training. Many of these trees show large roots that blew out through the container bottom and into the earth during their time in the beds. Those roots were cut and the trees recovered well over the past full growing season.

Please read this in full and understand before purchase to avoid a return/exchange. These trees are really rough stock, from top to bottom. Very healthy, but will need your patience to take them to the next level. Under the soil, the nebair’s could be much better or worse than what’s shown.

Our suggestion, upon arrival, would be to remove the plastic wrap around the roots/pot and plant in a slightly larger container with bonsai soil around it. Once spring comes, you can then either repot or allow it to grow for a season in this larger pot you’ve provided for a season or two to really acclimate to your climate.

We are listing these going into fall, so some may leaves or may not in the pictures. Most likely, they will arrive without leaves as colder weather has set in here.

Sizes are shown in the later pictures along with a trunk caliper measurement.

Shipping-US only. 2-3 day priority mail. During warmer months we only ship mondays-wednesdays.

Arrival- once the tree arrives, carefully unpack and water. Keep out of full sun for a few weeks to acclimate to your climate. Please keep in mind that a few twigs or branches may break during shipping. We pack very well but these are delicate things, and small things can happen.

Guarantee-If there are any issues with your order you must contact us within 24 hours of arrival based off of tracking. There is no guarantee/warranty that is written, express or implied. After 24 hours the sale is final and non refundable, returnable, or able to charge back. Please do your research on the species and your area for the best growing experience.
