These are 3 years old from seed; we just didn’t plant up many last spring as we had plenty potted. This is from our first crop of these ever. After a year in a pot they get wonderful twiggy branches and we’ve noticed the same in the ground. In zone 7 or warmer they grow incredibly fast. I think these should be used more for bonsai in America as we rarely see them in bonsai cultivation.
8-14 inches tall. Some may show signs of being cut back to fit in the size box that keeps shipping low.
